School Open Tomorrow

Dear Parents and Carers,

We are pleased to share some good news. The water supply and sprinkler system are due to be fully reinstated by 4:30pm today, and we are therefore expecting the school to reopen as normal tomorrow morning.

Thank you for your patience and understanding while we worked through this unexpected situation. We appreciate the support shown by our school community.

As the hot weather is set to continue, we would be grateful if you could help us keep children comfortable and safe by ensuring they come to school with:

Sun cream applied before arriving at school

A clearly labelled bottle of sun cream in their bag so it can be reapplied when needed

A sun hat for the journey to and from school

A refillable water bottle, clearly named

To help children stay cool, they may wear loose-fitting, comfortable clothing instead of their usual school uniform. Children may also wear sandals, provided they have secure ankle straps.

During the school day, children will be kept indoors or in shaded areas as much as possible, and staff will continue to monitor their wellbeing closely in the warm weather.
